Site Information

Location: Located 8km south of Wellington town centre, off the Mitchell Highway on Caves Road.
Site Suitable For: Big Rigs, Caravans, Motorhomes, Camper Trailers, and Tent Camping.
Road Access: Excellent sealed road access via Caves Road; suitable for all vehicle types and towing.
Site Surface: Level grassed sites and stable gravel hardstands; drive-through sites available for ease of use.

Pet Friendly Features

Pets are welcome on caravan and camping sites (on-lead).
Large grassy areas available for walking and exercise.
Please note pets are not permitted inside the caves or inside cabin accommodation.

Fishing: Available at the nearby Bell River or a 50-minute drive to Lake Burrendong for major species.
Short Walks: The self-guided Fossil Trail (15-30 mins) and the walk to the Japanese Gardens next door.
