As a free campsite managed by Parks Victoria, there are no facilities provided. Visitors must be fully self-contained, bringing their own toilet, water, and power. This requirement helps maintain the untouched nature of the site and ensures a quieter camping experience. Access is via unsealed forest tracks which can be navigated by 2WD in dry conditions but may require 4WD after rain.

While you may feel a world away from civilisation, Nevins Beach is conveniently located near some of the region’s best attractions. The historic Byramine Homestead is just a short drive away, offering a taste of local history and produce. For substantial supplies, dining, and entertainment, the twin towns of Yarrawonga-Mulwala are easily accessible. Site Information

Location: Situated on the Victorian bank of the Murray River in Burramine, west of Yarrawonga. Access is typically via Thoms Road or Harris Track off the Murray Valley Highway.
Site Suitable For: Caravans (off-road preferred), camper trailers, 4WD campers, and tents. Access for large motorhomes depends on track conditions and overhanging branches.
Road Access: Unsealed forest tracks. 2WD accessible in dry weather only. Tracks are clay-based and become extremely slippery and boggy when wet. 4WD is recommended.
Site Surface: Natural bush ground, dirt, leaf litter, and some sand near the river.
