It’s just a short drive from the historic township of Mitta Mitta, where you can find basic supplies and enjoy a meal at the classic country pub. The mighty Dartmouth Dam, a significant landmark and engineering marvel, is also within easy reach, offering spectacular views and its own renowned fishery. While the main attraction at Lightning Creek is undoubtedly the river—ideal for fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the warmer months—the area is also steeped in gold rush history.
